Plum Pudding Sauce


  • 2 C sugar
  • 3/4 C butter
  • 4 egg yolks (eggs must be fresh!)
  • 2 tsp vanilla

1) Cream together butter and sugar.

2) Heat over boiling water in the top of a double boiler until sugar melts.

3) Let cool, beat in egg yolks and vanilla

4) Serve over Plum Pudding.
